This REALLY IS faster and easier. You can draw your angled line directly and skip the need to make a little mark at the edge of the protractor. With a long enough baseline, you get the same reference mark stance as a 7" semicircular protractor. The compass feature can be used to draw circles of 1" to 13" Dia. in 1/4" increments. The Metric version draws 3 to 34 CM Dia. in 1 CM increments. It is made of .020 green vinyl.
